Phil Bond - Chairman

President and CEO of Bond & Associates. His 25-year career in Washington has included numerous citations for his leadership roles in the Executive branch, on Capitol Hill, at major high technology companies, and most recently as the CEO of TechAmerica, the largest technology advocacy association in the US.

From 2001 to 2005, Phil was Under Secretary of the U.S. Department of Commerce for Technology and, from 2002-2003, served concurrently as Chief of Staff to Commerce Secretary Donald Evans. In his dual role, Phil worked closely with Secretary Evans to increase market access for U.S. goods and services and further advance America’s technological leadership at home and around the world. He oversaw the operations of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), the Office of Technology Policy, and the National Technical Information Service. During his tenure, the Technology Administration was the pre-eminent portal between the federal government and the U.S. technology industry.

Howard A. Schmidt

Howard currently serves as a partner in the strategic advisory firm, Ridge-Schmidt Cyber, an executive services firm that helps leaders in business and government navigate the increasing demands of cybersecurity. He serves in this position with Tom Ridge, the first secretary of the Department of Homeland Security. He also serves as executive director of The Software Assurance Forum for Excellence in Code (SAFECode).

He brings together expertise in business, defense, intelligence, law enforcement, privacy, academia and international relations, gained from a distinguished career spanning 40 years. His former White House appointments include Cybersecurity Advisor to Presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush.

Previously, Mr. Schmidt was the President and CEO of the Information Security Forum (ISF). He previously held positions as Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer and Chief Security Strategist for eBay Inc., and formerly operated as the Chief Security Officer for Microsoft Corp. He also served as Chief Security Strategist for the US-CERT Partners Program for the Department of Homeland Security.

Hank Steininger

Hank is the former Managing Partner of the Global Public Sector business at Grant Thornton. In this role he was responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of Grant Thornton's government business worldwide. He was Chairman of the Grant Thornton International Public Sector Committee comprised of global member firms. As a senior partner, he was also a member of the U.S. Firm's Operating Committee which oversees and manages national and regional businesses. Today, Steininger is the CEO of a newly created public accounting and professional services firm based in Palm Beach, Florida. The company provides advisory, accounting and auditing services to both public and private sector clients.

Previously, he held the position of Chief Operating Officer for Grant Thornton in the United States. He was responsible for all Firm operations, including strategy development, business service lines (audit, tax and consulting), and geographic practices in 60 offices around the country. He established a portfolio and line of business approach to structuring the Firm's business operations, and led the sale of the Enterprise Solutions Division to Hitachi. He consolidated functional areas such as IT, HR, Finance and Purchasing on a Shared Services basis, supported by a national technology infrastructure.
